Effective March 20, 2026FeelinIt ("we," "our," or "the app") is a mental wellness application designed to help you explore and understand your emotions through interactive neuroscience-inspired visualizations. Your privacy is important to us.
1. Information We Collect
Emotion Session Data — When you explore an emotion and complete a stabilization exercise, the app records the emotion type, date, stabilization duration, and breathing quality. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account (Apple CloudKit).
Camera & Microphone — The app accesses your front camera to detect hand gestures and your microphone to detect breathing patterns during guided exercises. This data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
AI Conversations — Conversations with the in-app AI wellness coach are processed on-device using Apple's Foundation Models. No conversation data is sent to external servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To display your emotional journey and session history within the app.
- To provide real-time biofeedback during emotion regulation exercises.
- To generate contextual AI wellness coaching responses.
- To sync your data across your devices via iCloud (if enabled).
3. Data Storage & Security
All personal data is stored either locally on your device or in your private iCloud container (encrypted by Apple). We do not operate external servers that store your personal data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties. No data is transmitted to external analytics, advertising, or any other third-party platforms.
5. Third-Party Services
- Apple CloudKit (iCloud) — For optional data sync. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Apple Foundation Models — On-device AI. No data leaves your device.
6. Children's Privacy
FeelinIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
- Access & Export — View all your data within the app at any time.
- Deletion — Delete the app to remove all local data. Manage iCloud data through your device settings.
- Portability — Your data is under your control through iCloud.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected within the app and on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
